Ag. Canada (Lethbridge) Hiring Now - Summer 2012!

January 25, 2012

Scientists at Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada here in Lethbridge are already looking for you for a Summer 2012 work term. Various Co-op Opportunities exist in areas such as: Agriculture Studies, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Computer Science.

For those of you who have been in the program a while, you know the drill for the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada online database. For those of you new to the program, the short story is:

  • Each semester we collect resumes from students interested in a position with Ag. Canada.
  • These resumes are sorted by majors and compiled in an electronic database for them.
  • The scientists can then browse through them at their leisure and choose those candidates they would like to interview and hire.

You do not need to provide a cover letter in this instance.  Just ensure that we have an electronic copy of your most recent resume on file by creating a profile and uploading your resume to http://www.uleth.ca/artsci/coop/agro/.

Be sure to not miss this one!  We have met with many research scientists and technicians this month who are looking for Co-op students to start in May for 4, 8 or 12 month work terms.
