Up to date generic course descriptions and prerequisite requirements for all History courses are available in the Academic Calendar.
NOTE: HIST 1000 and HIST 1200 are designated in the Academic Calendar as substantially similar courses. This means that you may not use both courses toward the completion of your degree program (only one of the two will count). You are advised not to take one of these courses if you previously have credit for the other. If you are currently registered in both courses, you are advised to drop one of the two.
