The Department of Geography at the University of Lethbridge is excited to host the 55th Annual Meeting of the Western Division of the Canadian Association of Geographers (WDCAG), 7-9 March 2013.
WDCAG meetings serve as an annual gathering place for geographers from Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest and Yukon Territories, and the northwestern U.S. states to share recent advancements in the discipline. Many of the WDCAG meeting attendees have traditionally been students, and we think this year’s conference will again be an ideal venue for undergraduate and graduate students to not only attend but also present papers or posters of their research projects. We welcome geographers and those interested in Geography to join us in Lethbridge, where the Oldman River coulees intersect the Prairies, on traditional homeland of the Blackfoot people, for what promises to be an interesting, educational, and fun event.
