Thursday afternoon and Friday registration: at the UofL in the Alberta Water & Environmental Science Building (AWESB).
Park in Lot M. We arranged free parking for conference delegates only in this lot.
Thursday evening icebreaker: The Owl Acoustic Lounge (The Owl): short walk from the Lethbridge Lodge).
Not much parking space. Leave your car/bus at the Lethbridge Lodge or Days Inn as it is only a short walk from there, or try the parking stalls around Indian Battle Park.
Friday field trips:
9:30-12:00 Urban Geography: meet at 9:30 behind the Lethbridge Lodge at the end of 4th Ave S.
10:00-16:30 Geoarchaeology: meet at 10:00 at the AWESB registration table.
13:30-16:00 Agricultural Geography: meet at 13:15 at the AWESB registration table: bus will leave at 13:30.
14:00-16:30 Historical Geography: meet at Fort Whoop-Up in Indian Battle Park. This is in the Oldman River floodplain behind the Lethbridge Lodge. Follow 3rd Ave S to the bottom. This is a short 1.1 km walk from the Lodge.
Friday evening Keynote speaker: in room PE250 in the 1st Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness Centre (alias PE Building). This public talk will be followed by a reception in the Zoo (3rd floor Students' Union building)
Park in Lot E. Free parking after 5 pm.
Saturday conference: in Markin Hall, UofL.
Park in Lot E. Free parking all day.
Saturday banquet and dance: in the Lethbridge Lodge (320 Scenic Drive S).
Park behind the hotel.
