The Department of Geography offers a number of programs including:
A major in Geography for the 40- course Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Arts and Science degree programs. Students pursuing these programs can declare a Concentration in Geographical Information Science (GIS).
A Post-Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Geography, with a Concentration in Geographical Information Science. Students can participate in this program by first completing an approved diploma program and then transferring directly into the Post- Diploma B.Sc. Geography, with a Concentration in Geographical Information Science program (please contact the University of Lethbridge for a list of approved diploma programs and institutions).
A multidisciplinary major in Archaeology and Geography for the 40- course Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree programs. Students in both the B.A. and B.Sc. programs have the opportunity to declare a Concentration in Geographical Information Science (GIS).
The Department of Geography also participates in the delivery of the following programs:
Students who have selected a General Major in the Social Sciences or Sciences can select Geography as one of the three streams.
Students can select Geography as the B.A. or B.Sc. major for the Combined B.A./B.Ed., B.Sc./B.Ed. or B.A./B.Mgt., B.Sc./Mgt. programs.
