The Literature Club
The U of L Literature Club’s main goal is to bring all types of readers together for discussion and to help students who need assistance in analyzing literature for English courses.
The Literature Club discusses several featured novels throughout the year, which are nominated by its members and executive. The year is divided into discussing four classical texts, as well as three or four “open-book” selections (biography, poetry, autobiography, etc.).
The Lit Club is also dedicated to reaching out to the community through our Spelling Bee Mentor Volunteering, as well as our Literacy Outreach Program.
Join Us!
As one of the University's newer clubs, we are welcoming new members to share in our discussions and join in on the fun. We have a wide variety of events planned for the year already, including talks by local authors, “book-to-film” viewing nights, and the ever popular Wine & Cheese Extravaganza event.
