Co-operative Education & Internships

All full-time students, including students who are on Co-op Work Terms, are automatically included in the Extended Health & Dental Care Plan (unless you have chosen to opt out of the Health/Dental plan). Students will be allowed to opt out of the Health/Dental Plan (in September of each year) by the date determined by the Health Plan Administrator. You may opt out of either plan only if: you show proof of extended heath and/or dental care coverage at the Students' Union Health Plan Office, and complete the required waiver form. Dependent add-on coverage is also available for those students with families.

Students with existing comparable coverage wishing to opt out of the student health and dental plan should consult with the Student's Union for opt-out deadlines.
