Academic Writing Program

The Academic Writing Program offers a number of scholarships each year in the form of Writing Prizes for the best Research Paper in Writing 1000. Each year, students who take Writing 1000 in the first two years of their programs are eligible to be nominated by their instructors to submit their Research Papers for consideration by the Academic Writing Program Writing Prize Committee.

The AWP normally awards three Writing Prizes, one each academic year for students from Arts and Science, Management, and Fine Arts, respectively. The prizes are generously funded by the Deans of each Faculty.
