Schedule

January 12, 2013 – Into a New Photo Realm – After choosing an image of your choice from our selection of magazines you will transform it into a whole new life! You will become inspired to represent it in a new media, either with painting, drawing or even sculpture!

February 9, 2013 – Print Making – Our print making sessions have become an annual event for many Lethbridgians! All materials are provided and it’s easy to do, not to mention a lot of fun.

March 16, 2013 – Zentangle – Zentangle is a fun and relaxing activity for all age levels. It is great way to get creative using only a pencil and a piece of paper. You have the freedom of your imagination to create different lines and shapes that are then filled in with repetitive patterns of your choice to create a whole new beautiful image.

April 13, 2013 – Button Making for Trap/door – It’s our usual button making sesh! 1 button for $1 or 5 buttons for $3.

May 25, 2013 – A Rough Sketch – Using non-traditional drawing tools you will have the chance to express a reflection of yourself in a way you have never seen. Instead of looking into a mirror and seeing your reflection it is time to draw that reflection using chalk on sandpaper!

June 8, 2013 – It’s All in the Frame – Using a comic page template you will have the chance to use a variety of materials to create your own sequence of events. It’s time to create your own characters and storyline!

The activities are geared to be flexible for all ages from kindergarten through to adults.

All materials are supplied, admission is free, and no booking is required. For button making, in partnership with Trap\door artist-run centre, there is a charge for making the buttons.
