Institutional Analysis aids in the administration of other surveys for various external agencies. For example, in the spring semester of each year, Institutional Analysis sends out the Canadian University Report survey to all undergraduate students on behalf of Higher Education Strategy Associates. The results of this survey are published in the Globe and Mail every fall. In the spring 2013 semester, all undergraduate students will be surveyed.
Once every five years, Institutional Analysis also aids in the administration of the Statistics Canada National Graduates Survey. This survey is conducted two years after graduation. The purpose of the survey is to provide information on the integration of recent graduates into the labour market, focusing on the match between education/training and occupation. In the spring 2012 semester, individuals who graduated in 2009/2010 will be surveyed.
Institutional Analysis also conducts internal surveys on an ad hoc basis. In the past, we conducted surveys on early leavers and students that persist in their studies. We expect to continue to conduct ad hoc surveys and we welcome any survey suggestions you may have.
