Graduate Students

    Master’s enrolment has increased during the last decade. The Ph.D. program has shown growth over the last several years. Graduate students made up 6.7% of the student population in fall 2016.

    57.3% of the graduate student population was female in 2016. which is a 1.3% increase from 2015

    In 2009, additional Master of Education cohorts were brought into the University.

    The increase in Arts and Science credit hours are due to increased numbers of students enrolled in Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Ph.D. programs.

    Students self-declare First Nations, Métis, and Inuit status. In 2009, an FNMI Master of Education cohort was brought into the University.  Since 2012, there has been a 23% increase in FNMI graduate enrolment.

    Visa students made up 27% of the graduate student population in fall 2016.

    In 2009, additional Master of Education cohorts were brought into the University. The majority of students in the Master of Education are from Alberta.
