Alumni Representative to the Board of Governors
The University of Lethbridge Alumni Association (ULAA) is putting out a call for applications for an alumni representative to serve on the Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is a policy-governed body with responsibility for strategic oversight and ensuring the activities of the University of Lethbridge are consistent with its mandate and governing legislation.
Requirements of the position:
This position is a three year term from the date of appointment (Fall 2016 to Fall 2019). There are five regularly scheduled board meetings each year that run from approximately 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with some type of event following in the evening. The Board of Governors hold a retreat that has historically been held on campus in the last few years. The retreat usually starts on Wednesday and ends Friday at noon. The member will also likely serve on one committee or another.
