Leslie Lavers (BASc (BA) '78)

Leslie Tremaine Lavers began her career at the University of Lethbridge in 1980 and has served in her current position as associate vice-president (student services) and registrar since 1996. Among many professional successes, Leslie Lavers is especially well regarded for the user-friendly student information system and innovative registration processes that she has implemented during her tenure.

Because of her unwavering dedication to both students and staff at the University of Lethbridge, Leslie Lavers was fittingly recognized in 2005 by the Native American Students’ Association. The Native name Bluebird Woman was bestowed upon her because she flies high to see the big picture and swoops low to attend to countless details.
