Carole Steen (BASc (BA) '73, BEd '78)
Carol Steen is a highly respected principal who received both her bachelor of arts and science and bachelor of education degrees from the University of Lethbridge. Steen has served as a principal in Lethbridge School District No. 51 since 1990, and for the past five years she has been the principal of Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, which is the largest high school in Lethbridge. In 1994, Steen was honoured with a YWCA Woman of Distinction Award. More recently, she received the Queens' Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. Steen is also on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement, a charter member of the Lethbridge Sunrise Rotary Club and a former U of L Senate member.
