Anne Williams Morris

Anne Williams Morris (BEd '77)

In addition to her B.Ed. degree, Anne holds a BMus. and a L.Mus. from McGill University. Anne's tireless dedication as a peace activist in Lethbridge earned her the 1989 YWCA Woman of Distinction Award for work in peace education. She is also a member of Canadian Voice for Women for Peace, the Canadian Federation of University Women, the Lethbridge Network for Peace, and a founding member of the Lethbridge Raging Grannies. In addition to her leadership and dedication in the peace movement, she was for 20 years the Executive Secretary of the Canadian Journal of Philosophy, which locates its editorial office at the University of Lethbridge; a teacher with the Conservatory of Music at the U of L from 1977 to 1993, and the church organist at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church 1975-2000.
