On behalf of the University of Lethbridge Alumni Association, I want to extend my most sincere congratulations to all the students who have applied to convocate this spring. As you complete your coursework and prepare for exams, remember: your relationship with the U of L doesn't end at graduation. In fact, it's just beginning.

As the newest members of our alumni community, you will soon be one of more than 36,000 U of L alumni worldwide. With Chapters in Calgary and Edmonton, as well as a First Nations, Métis and Inuit Chapter, you are part of a network of community leaders, researchers, educators and innovators who are improving the communities to which they belong by sharing the benefits of the knowledge, discoveries and ideas.

The U of L Alumni Association wants to keep you connected to this proud and inspired community through events, networking and volunteer opportunities, and publications like SAM - Southern Alberta Magazine - and Aperture. Most importantly, we can help you stay in touch with fellow classmates.

Our Mission

  • To contribute in as many ways as possible to the orderly growth and prestige of the University.
  • To promote interest in, cooperation with, and support, financial or otherwise, of the University.
  • To provide the University with advice and guidance on matters relating to the Alumni of the University of Lethbridge.
  • To increase mutually beneficial relationships among the Alumni of the University.
  • To further cordial relations, among all the constituencies of the University community.
  • To foster an understanding of the function of the Association among all University constituencies, in particular the student body.
  • To provide funds to maintain the Association.
  • To support students through the provision of scholarships and/or bursaries, including—but not limited to—a scholarship fund for the children of Alumni.
